Guests can
surrender to a mind and body healing experience with our
treatments and therapies. Treatment in Ayurveda is a two
pronged process involving actual treatment, and more
important - a lifestyle consultation. This is followed by a
cleansing of the mind and body, which then has to be
maintained by the individual for the treatment to be
effective.
Every person is understood to be three-dimensional i.e.
composed of body, mind and soul. And these three dimensions
are set in an individualised pattern based on the three
dominant Doshas (Prakruti). An imbalance in any one of these
dimensions leads to “Ill being” (Vikruti). It is only after
a detailed consultation that the physician determines the
cause of this imbalance. Using three ancient techniques of
observation (Darsana), touching/feeling (Sparsana), and
interrogation (Prasna) after which the patient is given a
detailed description of what he might expect to undergo over the
next few days/ weeks. |
